Customer feedback
What customers said afterwards
Rated 4.3 out of 5 across 37 customer reviews. All of them are printed below, in full, including the ones that are not flattering.
One visit each, start to finish
Each entry is a single call: what the appliance was doing, what was measured, what was changed, and how the visit ended. They carry a first name and a last initial, and none has been trimmed to make the average look better than the work was.
A wall of nothing but top marks tells a reader nothing. A bench that has never had a part arrive slowly, or a booking go sideways, is a bench nobody has ever used — so those entries sit on this page beside the rest, and they are part of the 4.3 above.
No figure is quoted inside any of them. What a visit costs is on the pricing page, where it can be held against the invoice, and what happens afterwards is on the warranty page. If an entry below sounds like your own kitchen, the page for that work sets out how the fault gets found.
Wolf cooking appliances in St. Augustine and the rest of St. Johns County: ranges, cooktops, wall ovens, steam ovens, coffee systems and ventilation. The flat $129 diagnostic was the same on every call listed here.

The wall oven ran hot and burned everything on the base. He recalibrated it and fitted a new sensor, which sorted it out. The work was good; getting anyone to pick up the phone beforehand was not.
Leopoldine R.
Our range sits in a tight galley in an old house and nothing comes through the door easily. He took the doors off their hinges, walked it out on a dolly, worked in the hall and put it all back.
Ysabel A.
The steam oven kept stopping and asking for water with the tank full to the line. He replaced the level sensor and cleaned its contacts. It runs well now, though it took two trips to finish.
Roland U.
The hood over our island had almost stopped pulling air. He found the blower packed with salt and grease, cleaned it out and fitted new bearings. Better, though I had to remind him to seal the joint.
Fabian E.
The built-in coffee unit stopped pushing water through and just groaned at us. He descaled it properly, renewed the brew unit seals and showed me our grind was too fine. It needed a second trip.
Imogen R.
The oven heats correctly again. My complaint is that the trim panel was left with two screws missing, which I only noticed once he had gone, and then a return visit had to be arranged for it.
Augusto N.
One zone on the cooktop stopped heating altogether. He measured the element and the switch, found the switch at fault and replaced it. Solid repair, but nobody warned us the day had slipped.
Ottavia N.
The oven would preheat and then stall short of the setting every time. He found the sensor drifting and replaced it, then rechecked the calibration. Good result; the first date was cancelled on us.
Bertram L.
The unit steams again, so the work itself was right. What I object to is the scheduling: two mornings held open, two days with nobody at the door, and an apology only once I said I would look elsewhere.
Henrike Q.
The fan works now and the diagnosis was sound enough. But the first visit ended with nothing done because the part had never been ordered, and nobody told me that before he drove all the way out.
Wilhelmine T.
Our coffee system was leaving grounds in the cup. He lifted the brew group out, found a cracked filter screen and replaced it, then pulled three cups to check before he would call the job finished.
Dermot K.
Our double oven had lost its lower cavity completely. He found an open thermal cutout and, instead of simply replacing it, worked out why it had opened and found the cooling fan slowing. Both changed.
Philomena D.
The gas cooktop clicked non-stop in damp weather. He dried and resealed the electrode collars and replaced one that had cracked, then explained plainly why the air here does that to them.
Ewan G.
The repair was correct and the range has been fine since. My problem was the estimate: I was told one thing over the phone and something else at the door, and nobody would explain the difference.
Nerissa C.
Ours had scaled up badly on our well water. He descaled the boiler twice over, replaced an inlet valve that had stuck part open, and set out a cleaning routine that has kept it clear since.
Anselm Z.
The duct here runs through a coquina wall and nobody else wanted to touch it. He measured the run, worked out the blockage was a bird nest at the cap, cleared it and fitted a proper screen.
Nathanael B.
It brews again, which is the main thing. But the visit was moved twice, and the second man had to begin the diagnosis over from scratch because nothing from the first had been written down anywhere.
Perdita M.
The door on the upper oven had dropped and would not latch. He fitted new hinges on both sides and reset the alignment, then checked the seal the whole way round with a sheet of paper.
Reinhold S.
The burner works and the diagnosis was right. What I did not like was being told the part was on the shelf, then waiting nine days for it with no word unless I rang the office and asked.
Rowena D.
The oven burner would not stay lit after the first cycle of the evening. He measured the flame sensor circuit, found the ground strap eaten through where the salt air reaches it, and remade it.
Tobias V.
Steam was escaping at the hinge side and the wall above had begun to blister. He fitted a new seal and adjusted the catch, then checked the whole perimeter with a strip of paper before leaving.
Lavinia I.
The hood lights flickered for a fortnight and then quit. He replaced the transformer and both holders, and rerouted the wiring clear of the heat, which is what had baked the old one.
Georgiana K.
The milk system stopped frothing and smelled sour however much we cleaned it. He stripped the frother line out, found a collapsed hose behind the panel and replaced it. It froths properly again.
Rafael B.
It works, and the man was polite about the mess in the cabinet. But nobody told me the part had to be ordered at all, and the written estimate did not reach me until I asked for it a second time.
Isadora G.
Our range door glass had gone cloudy and the seal had gone hard as a board. He fitted a new seal, cleaned both panes and adjusted the hinges so it shuts square. It closes the way it used to.
Marcelline F.
Two burners had lazy flames and one would not hold a simmer. He cleaned the ports, checked the orifices against the gas we run and set the low flame on all of them. Even flames right across now.
Alistair W.
The fan in the steam oven had begun to whine loudly. He changed the motor and cleaned out the housing. It is quiet again, but the first part that came was wrong and that added a week to it.
Casper X.
Our blower rattled hard at the top speed. He balanced the wheel and replaced a perished mount, which cured it. Good work; I just wish he had put a sheet down before standing on the counter.
Silvestre M.
Our unit kept asking to be descaled a day after it had been descaled. He found the hardness sensor coated and the tank seal weeping, and put both right. I did wish somebody had rung back sooner.
Susanna T.
The control panel had gone dim and half the display was missing. He replaced the board and carried the settings across. Done in one visit, though the part came to more than I had been led to expect.
Valerio P.
The broiler would only light across one half. He cleaned the burner face and fitted a new igniter, and it works. I would have liked the old part put in my hand rather than taken away unseen.
Quentin O.
Our cooktop kept cutting out whenever two burners ran together. He found a scorched connector in the junction box under the counter, cut it back and remade it. It has not cut out once since.
Frederica S.
Our steam oven threw a code we could not clear ourselves. He read the fault log, traced it to a blocked drain line rather than the board, and cleared it. That saved us buying a part we did not need.
Emmeline J.
Smoke was coming straight back at us on the island side. He found the roof damper corroded shut, freed and then replaced it, and the kitchen clears in about a minute now instead of never.
Beatriz H.
The coffee unit flagged a grinder jam and would not clear it. He got a small stone out of the burr chamber, which had come in with the beans, checked the burr alignment and reset the grind for us.
Lachlan P.
The griddle plate had never heated evenly since the day it went in. He found a clip missing at one end, so the element was sitting off the plate, refitted it properly and now it browns evenly.
Delphina Y.
A knob had seized and the stem snapped when it finally turned. He fitted a new valve stem and knob and cleaned the others while he was in there. Fine work, though I chased the invoice twice.
Cormac H.
